Job Duties
Provide SAS/analytical programming, data management and quality control support for a wide variety of research projects including clinical trials under the supervision of higher-level programmers or biostatisticians. Learn and use a variety of analytical software including SAS in multiple operating system environments and perform simple analytical tasks using SAS or other analytical tools. Extract, manipulate and merge large databases to create analytical datasets. Assist in defining analytic variables and consult with project staff on project programming design and analysis needs. Define analytical variables and consult with project staff on project needs. Maintain a professional relationship with project personnel. Implement comprehensive quality checking and validation process. Maintain and troubleshoot software and programs. Design and generate tracking and data entry tools as needed and Create tables and graphs using analysis output and figures to be used in scientific manuscripts. Assist in building, cleaning, and updating the Research Virtual Data Warehouse (VDW) tables as needed, including fixing issues that appear on the QA reports. Run quality assurance (QA) programs to ensure quality data is being populated and maintained in the database. Undertake programming to create tables and figures for study monitoring and analysis reports, and to undertake statistical analyses to address study research questions. Implement automated reporting and data loading schemes. Convert and merge data from a wide variety of sources across platforms. Create and maintain documentation to document process and data quality issues. Lead programming tasks, independently investigate data issues, and coordinate with senior project leadership and division management on solutions. Collaborate with project team members to review, critically evaluate, and refine business requirements. Translate business rules or other specifications into programming logic. Must be able to travel/relocate to various client sites throughout the U.S.
Job Requirements
Required Master’s or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Public Heath, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Bioinformatics or related. Must be able to travel/relocate to various client sites throughout the U.S.

$133682.00/Year to $138000.00/Year
